VIEW THIS SUITENamed after George Petrie of the British 77th Foot Regiment who took over Fort Cochin from the Dutch in 1795, Major Petrie overlooks Saint Francis Church and the quiet side street from the first floor of the property. Located on the ground floor, away from the main living area, it overlooks Saint Francis Church on the quiet side street. Its teak and marble bathroom has a walk-in shower and separate tub. Medieval in style, it is reminiscent of past Portuguese days.
VIEW THIS SUITENamed after the French Admiral who spent a night in the house on his way from Pondicherry to the French trading post of Mahé, the bright bedroom overlooks Saint Francis Church from the first floor of the property. VIEW THIS ROOMAide de Camp is one of two Luxury Heritage rooms with a private verandah overlooking the pool and garden. Small in size but high in style, it is located right next to the Viceroy Luxury Heritage Suite and the two rooms can be closed off from the rest of the house to become a Grand Family Suite. Its teak and marble bathroom offers a large walk-in shower.
VIEW THIS ROOMNamed after the legendary tea trader whose home Le Colonial became under British rule, J. Thomas is located in the side wing of the property. The room, with its teak four poster bed and poplin canopy opens onto a private balcony with a garden view. The bathroom features an over-sized walk-in shower.
